@Kaarme she didn't realize it was a illusion magic. It was bright ass cave with a giant opening, she was probably trying to distract the soldiers or find the one giving instructions.

@TomTangent She ran, and jumped, quite a distance to the cave, following the instructions. You'd think the one giving the instructions wouldn't have purposefully led them to a meaningless place. However, if you only follow the instructions partially, you might as well not follow them at all. She simply couldn't trust the one giving the instructions and instead thought it would be better for her to die.
