Aren't Youko's mom and gigantic dad living together pretty happily, all things considered? Even though he was discovered before graduating and all... I can't see why Youko would have to disappear from Asahi's life forever if her dad was able to manage his vampyrism and live with his wife, and daughter (until she moved out).

You know I usually hate it when the good guy tries to save the enemy during battle but I can excuse this one cause Youko has a density comparable to Bakarina

@j48dmxk39 My theory is that Youko was not as powerful as her father and was less likely to revert back in any form after that(future) incident. And she might have went far away from everyone after that.
Or Maybe she became a true blooded vampire that just can't withstand normal sunlight, garlic etc. This could explain that why she was not appearing before Asahi at all. And also, modern scientist could be the cause as they often appears to have interest in strange being.
