While I understand his reasoning a bit, the MC needs to pull his head out of his ass and realize not only that just because you don't mean to harm them doesn't mean they know it, or even care about it, but also that you're not alone there.
Completely lost interest in this series. I'd be more moved by liz if I thought there was anyone in this world worth saving but...most of the suck so...
I actually don't think they have enough information. Usually young is accompanied by parents. And if this is the type that leave the nest early kind of thing, doesn't that mean more might start migrating further soon. Depends how many babies dragons have..
@icekatze
how is not wanting to die and not wanting shingo to die cowardly???
he's incredibly important; not just to her, but to her country, and honestly, the world. his knowledge of medicine alone could literally change the world.
Perhaps the seed has springs inside Liz's long cold heart and now the impulse to protect him was more than just because of her job; but not realizing it yet so she's using the obvious facts that she would get killed as well if he got killed in action to get him snap out of it.
But I'm sure he would get his way through though and get everyone in danger smh. Thanks for the update!
@nobaka
Not wanting to die isn't cowardly, but it's a bit out of character for Liz to be so passionate about it after being so blase about it earlier. Back in chapter 18, she said she has no reason to live or die, and only lives for orders. (If anything, the system of slavery is at fault here, but that's beyond the scope of the observation.)
Not wanting Shingo to die isn't cowardly and it might be true that he's incredibly important, but that's not her argument at all. She says "I've been ordered not to kill you." Which implies that were it not for her orders she wouldn't have any problem with it. She says that if he dies, then she'll be killed. She doesn't say that if he dies, then it'll be a loss for the world.
She says that his specialized knowledge amounts to tedious conjectures, and doesn't seem to think very highly of it.
nice to see the haremettes arent just mindless onaholes that agree with everything shingo says.
Liz is really becoming the best character in the series.
Even after all this time, they're all still so dismissive of the MC. The dragon thing is one thing, but how is finally understanding the behavior of the fire rats unrelated research? You can't understand why they ran away if you don't know about their original habitat. Bunch of fucking idiots that think they're smart. Honestly dislike everyone except the MC at this point.
