Jui-san no Oshigoto in Isekai - Ch. 29 - Kazami's Fixation

@boag
I think we are putting different levels of effort into our responses, but whatever. How did him blowing the ceiling (which in this case was just making a bunch of rocks fall on the the hydra and weakening it) cause Bunny Girl to die, or even contribute to it?

@Arythazin
he pushed towards investigating the large cavern when they came about it, he should have pushed for more caution than, IMMA BLOW THE CEILING

@boag Where did he ‘push’ for exploring the cavern, or are you suggested it wasn’t everyone’s job to exterminate the source of the infection? No one suggested going back because the job wasn’t finished. And blowing up the ceiling so that you don’t have to go into melee range is being careful. If you are blaming him after-the-fact that his plan didn’t work out, then you can also say it’s the bunny’s fault for not being vigilant and not being near someone who could erect a barrier.

Edit: actually before all that, why do you seem so offended by the ceiling collapse thing?

@Arythazin
This word doesnt mean what you think it means.

He pushed for the exploration of the large cavern after seeing the damn hydra, they had a chance to back out and plan it out better, but his ass got uppity and he lost the bunny because of it, hes doing the same exact thing again, hes going in with limited people and putting them in a high risk situation, only this time is for an even more stupid reason, while with the hydra it was justified, you would think the dumbass would have learned to be more careful after having several chapters of him whining like a bitch about losing the bunny.

And of course the author will not allow his MC to lose another character. Thats what im complaining about, i hope this made my stance clearer.

@boag you won’t find me defending his recklessness with the current dragon. But situationally, I felt that with the hydra he took a balanced action; it was more cautious than a straight charge ahead, and he tried working with what he had rather than having to go back. Sure he may have been able to prepare more, but they are both working against the clock and somewhat against the lord; if they don’t hurry up then the army would arrive and burn down the town; if the lord finds out that the ghoul infection is due to a living hydra then that section of the town is mostly likely getting burned down. Also, for all the talk of preparation, caution and etc, it’s Shingo charging in straight at the Hydra by himself that finishes the job. Also, what kind of preparations do you think he should have taken? IMO if the threat of the town getting burned down and the infection spreading wasn’t a thing, and he had the money and oil available, then turning the cave into a pool of fire probably would have been fine.

Also yeah, maybe fixated would have been a better word to use.

@Arythazin
he had already used explosives to deal with undead, he could have prepped them, im willing to forgo that for the immediacy required, I still think hes acting like an impulsive dumbass again, and the author will not punish him for it.

As an objective outside observer, I declare Arythazin won that debate match of Arythazin vs Boag.
