I think the MC is being perfectly reasonable. What I don't understand is how much power he actually has, since no one seems to take him seriously. The whole "his eminence" thing is talked about like he has extreme political power, but no one is even trying to hide the fact that they're trying to fuck him over.

@Disguised22 Same feeling here. Dude is supposed to be important and influential, but doesn't even have a grip on his own followers, much less anyone else. Practically zero backing from the ruling power too, who summoned him in the first place. It's not like I want people to bow down to him, he doesn't have to be overpowered or anything, but the constant disrespect that he gets from a bunch of morons (especially his own followers) is just really annoying to read.
