Jujutsu Kaisen - Vol. 5 Ch. 37 - Exchange Festival with the Kyoto School - Team Battle 4

So Panda is an inflatable panda doll, and Mai can steal people's faces? when did that happen?

@Doomroar You understood it wrong pal, Mai is Maki twin sister.

Toudou is really sophisticated with his thinking. Who stopped to look at his memories of Yuuji and his friendship?

kinda tired of the female vs female matchups that seem to always happen in battle manga, but hey, Toudou vs Yuuji has been so fun so far, I sure am looking forward to seeing how the rest of them turn out

@ratio Yeah i will never understand the need to pit people against their own genders when people have superpowers. Its like a wiered kind of sexism. I mean in general people should just be fighting each other without it mattering.

Its not as if weight class matters so why should sex? They just need to even things out more in general. When was the last time a battle manga had a female bruiser come out bloody and broken from a fistfight or something? I mean when passing out powers you almost always end up giving the girls guns or other ranged non physical abilities. The guys get rough while the girls just use ranged attacks.

PS, caught up after finding this last night...sad now.

You could just treat it as coincidence or a clash of personalities/powers. They are technically fighting each other without it really mattering.

@ratio I agree with completely, but well one step at a time we will reach a better point to these kinds of cliches. At least this manga gives it female characters a personality. And to me, they are pretty badass.

Just remembered one fight female x male, and a damn good one, Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori. Man Sakura could have been such a badass character then Kishimoto nerfed her so hard that she turned into a meme.

It's really hard to dislike any of the characters, and that's an honestly good sign for the rest of this manga. It's still in it's baby stages, but man, the characters are great, and actually have personality! Including the girls! I love the girls, especially Naraba. It's so rare for me to actually get attached to female characters, since they are always so poorly written that they come off as annoying, or useless, or both.

I'd die for this manga if need be.
