Either way he seems an unreasonable man for chopping people up for touching him at all, regardless of whether the FL is included for that.

Yeah, he obviously have the stone curse mentioned in the first chapter, the curse who can bring ruin to your family and kill you most of time.

That's probably why he is interested in her at first, because of her pendant who can calm the curse progress.
