@onitada I think your mistaken about something, if you ignore the inner thought of the mc, it will turn into a generic seinen manga. Both his action and speech when he was in "shadow mode" was edgy but appropriate when you think about the situation he was currently in. Without the comdedy, it was like an edgy manga you can find anywhere with a "kill or be killed" scenario. The comedy was pretty much something that was unnecessary to the plot...but it was the charm of this, it would turn into an action manga with a heavy mood when necessary while also being a comedy manga
