The good thing about it is that common people gonna say that Shadow's real identity is the nameless swordsman Jimina, whose information is basically unknown. That way even if few people suspect Cid to be hiding his strength, they won't relate to him as Shadow because Shadow is Jimina. Clever Cid, clever.
