I just started reading this and I gotta say, this is very similar to overlord in which for some reason both the protag's subordinates are very loyal and go along with anything the master said, and for some reason all the stars just aligned in their favour. Though in overlord, ainz has a better grip of what's actually happening and he just wants to keep to nazarick and himself, while cid here is chuuni through and through and all the random story he spew is actually right on mark.
