Okay, it's been a while since I saw a protagonist get nearly mind broken in the first goddamn chapter. Gives me fresh respect for the chick from meiruko, or what not.

@davremedy I have the feeling that shadow Loli somehow outranks the chick by a lot, and it won't be so much "forgiven" as "forced into servitude".


@Talith the flexibility of how the shadow power is utilized is really cool so far, and I am really excited to see what other weirdness is possible.

another one of these things where there are cool powers and decent hooks for the worldbuilding but it's tanked by having to have a generic male self-insert main character. Will this guy ever develop a personality beyond "vaguely traumatized"? Who knows! I certainly won't be reading more of this to find out.
