Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen - Vol. 13 Ch. 131 - Miyuki Shirogane Wants to Be Confessed to, Part 5

I'm surprised nobody seems to remember fans scans were the first ones to snipe and made anons stop translating this series. On the other hand though, I prefer the chapters cleaned so I appreciate the hard work JB is putting into it every week.

Wow. he really is damn brainy.
This is awesome! I want time skips!!

So prez used this little time to either get confessed to by kaguya or tell her his desition huh...and seeing as how kaguya was always trying to not show her affection to him he decided to come clean on her. That fortune teller really had that last part of her fortune completely right...

@lgmk
Of course he did, he's the only person in the school who could outwit everyone else.

Had a feeling this was going to be the last big arc. Not bad

Just a little update for people who read this version, there's one serious mistake in the translation for one of the most important lines in the chapter. On page 8,
Yume Atenbo (occult research club president) says "目的のためならば時には人を騙すことさえ厭わない" literally this means like "if it's for the sake of your goals, you wouldn't have a problem deceiving someone." This version translates it completely the opposite, stating that Shirogane is above such things.

I just want to point out this line because it's some really key characterization for the president and will probably have a massive impact on later chapters.

@Whyte
@Acolytus @kleiner While it isn't exactly pleasant, how would you expect the scans to make ends meet if people were to only use aggregators? You can't possibly expect them to pay so we can read for free, right?

First of all, no one is innocent here: scans (I was part of one, long time ago) don't abide by the law, and all of us readers know that. No sophistry like fair use and lack of english license and sh*t like that gonna really matters if the japanese starts wasting money hiring foreign law firms. Hence, they have no right to demand anything from anyone.

Well, that said, they can keep scanlating for free or can demand payment or do a Patreon-system, whatever is OK and I don't complain about it, no problem at all for me. What is sad and a little pathetic is pretend to do for free and persuade (through delays or forced ad view) the reader to give monatery compensation. Nobody is forcing them to scanlate, they shouldn't try to force people to give them payment, directly or indirectly.

But again, they do what they want, I complain whatever I want. Freedom is what matters.

I agree with @kleiner
Since we are all acting in the gray (or black) area they are free to do whatever they want (delay / non delay / pulling out of mangadex ecc.) and we are free to complain and do whatever we want.

@lgmk

That's the contingency plan for "Subject F".
And we know it's going to backfire hilariously. Though my hope is that he's set it up in a way that everybody is going to witness the confession - thus marking Kaguya as his for the time they will be apart.

based /a/nons
to heck with people trying to monetize a mangaka's work
almost as bad as the sick mother guy
