Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi - Vol. 3 Ch. 11.2

@CraniumAmbiguity Because she is one of the few earnest people he met, and he wants to take advantage of that. By giving her enough truth of the real situation, with some lies to cover his ass, she'll go bring her own justice to the corrupt members of the kingdom.

So last chapter it was blocking her attack with his sword and not having it completely cut into his arm while bending in half.

This chapter, you JUST saw him change his face, yet you can easily accept that the next person that walks into the room is the actual princess?

I'm not reading this for logical plot or anything, but it still bothers me a bit.

terinayaya She is dumb and still affected aphrodisiac, her head not clear enough to think as critical as reader. You guys should stop forcing all know view of story reader to character inside the story.

She should have felt the malicious intent from the MC when they fought, so it doesnt makes sense to believe his story

and why trust its the princess? the MC just shown her that he can manipulates appearances

What he showed also means his version is perfectly possible, and while she most likely don't believe him all that much, she probably want to believe his story and the things he's shown.
There really aint that many other options for her to believe in if she wants to continue thinking of that woman as a kind and generous person, which she seems dead set on wanting to continue.

For such reasons people like her have always been, and always will be those that are the easiest to manipulate.

Rereading some of this, this page has gotten me really interested in this king. Usually a king is just a puppet compared to the heroes, but the way Keyaru talks about it as if his level is a few steps above even the heroes(at least the ones he wants revenge on). Should be interesting to see whenever we get to actually see him in conversation to see what he is really about.

The gentle and kind princess faked her death by sacrificing two maids, and left behind two heads, one of which wore the princess' face. Seems to match up.

Got back to the end of this series(2nd time reading). Seems kinda stupid you'd trust someone who can change appearances into believing a girl is the real Freya.

This girl is the sword saint, who has lost her arm.
Hes going to convince her of his BS story, then hes going to send her back into the kingdom as a spy.
He doesnt brainwash her because she was actually nice to him, and in the past loop she was used and died a sad death.
The Sword Saint is going to fall in love with him via lies, and they will have sex, just in time for Freyas little sister to show up in town.

It's not so much as to convince the Sword Saint his story, instead it's to sow the seeds of doubt and her personal investigation will do the rest...well, at least the corruption part of the Kingdom.
