blade's magic sword grants her status effect immunity as long as she has it on her, his plan is to convince her he is not a threat so she takes her gear off to sex him then surprise motherfucker.
everything is keikaku doori, being captured and appearing helpless is needed to make her lower her guard, why keep your guard up around someone you just drugged? Shit will be wild next part.
@starburst98
Thanks, to be honest, I forgot about Blade's immunity, but still, I am not convinced with his reaction. He is still more resistant than a normal person so he shouldn't feel the effect of the drug so quickly.
@Tamerlane
Ok, but this is just a pure manga/anime logic. There should be no difference for an organism, between aphrodisiac and poison, it is still a chemical compound. The name doesn't matter.
Are you guys for real?
The guy has poisoning resistance, if this drug works the effects won't last as long as they usually would on normal humans that fell victim to sword hero.
Not everyone has to be asspull because you don't like it.
Everything is a chemical compound @AngryFerret. Food, water, etc. are all compounds. I'd assume posion resistance only affect against things that would negatively impact his body in the sense of causing damage (ie stuff your liver wants to filter out).
If it just did it indiscriminately, potions wouldn't work and, more broadly, you wouldn't be able to drink water as it is a compound of hydrogen and two oxygen atoms and all foods are compounds of multiple substances. It's safe to assume that the aphrodisiac isn't anything more than medicine that would increase your libido (or that might make you sleepy) that your body naturally produces, which could bypass the filter completely. It's nothing that would cause damage to your body like a drug (as we have seen earlier) or alcohol if it's just going to release hormones, because not only do you do that on your own but certain foods will do that automatically.
It's also feasible it's distinguishing between harmful drugs vs nonharmful drugs, but that's a bit of a stretch
It's out-right stated that it's a cocktail of an aphrodisiac and a sleeping drug. (Sleeping drugs just promote production of pre-existing chemicals so they can bypass no problem because they're not poisonous or actively harmful to the body)
It's not a roofie according to the text (At least, it's not Flunitrazepam as it would be in the modern world counter part. It's unlikely medieval socities would have roofies anyway)
@Tamerlane
Fantasy world sleeping drug.
They have potions that cause you to regrow limbs in minutes. Are you seriously saying that is more believable than a drug that actually puts people to sleep?
