Yeah, what D-mann said, as many have explained keyaru only acts on revenge otherwise he's very passive but when something of (his self proclaimed possession) is taken then he'll act. Sometimes it may be seen as heroic but in the end he's only in it for his own goals.

Yeah idk myself, feels like a pretty important detail to just forgeting to mention, but yeah.....

If there is no limitation, then the only reason i can think about is making the princess speech more believable.

There was this chapter of Franken Fran that I think is very apt for this Manga. The character in question that I feel is similar to the Keyaruga is Shirou Kazekiri: Vengeance III (Sentinel III).
