Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life - Vol. 4 Ch. 15.1 - The answer

He just wants to live his life in his own way. Playing hero is just unreasonable for him, he is a hero himself, hero for his village. I admire his way of life tbh

@Kaarme You realize that most of them didn't know he was kicked out until he was gone. See, the person who kicked him out was his direct boss.

Put it another way, would you allow your home town and all your loved ones in that home town to die because your sh*tty boss fired you from your job???

You got to understand... you are trying to put the blame of a single person's crime on an entire nation.

And that doesn't really hold up....

Is this going to turn into a harem, because that demon general literally just suggested kids while sitting with dariel

all the small things he does adds up in a big way to bad the fire general couldnt see that

He doesnt want to fight the Demon lord because he knows then and that is understandable.

Also he was fired because his boss (Bashubaza) was always compared and told to follow Dariel advice, this of course given him a hell of a inferiority complex and he fired him just so he could prove that he didnt need Dariel, as much people here are oh so mature his reaction was kinda expected and had a long time brewing, Dariel is still liked in the Demon Army as you can see by most reactions towards him, he doesnt want to go back because he found a place in the village.

As for the Heroes ... I mean, subversions should not became the rule, I mean yes ... outside Bashubaza they dont seem terrible but then again, who knows ... Bashubaza was making a mythil bomb so you shouldnt just take the ones we saw as example, after all we cannot just apply "humans-bad, demons-god" because subversions.

I do doubt he will join the heroes because the title is "The Slow Second Life".

Yeah hero you cannot stop dariel and his wholesome family and this was wholesome and i want dariel to see doroye!!

@Kaarme not many in the leadership, only Basubaza or whatever his name was, the edgy chunni wannabe hated him, cause Bitchy's dad was the one who raised the MC.

The previous Heavenly Kings appreciated him, and even the Demon King was aware of the MC's contributions despite having low magic.

If you think that the hero will stop after this:
Nope, she then forces Dariel to join by ‘using’ the law.

@Notesha Well that's just scummy as fuck.

"Nothing is more important that defeating the Demon Lord!"... That may be the case for her, but forcing your ideals unto other people is just plain selfishness.

He already stated clear as day as to why he didn't want to join. He wants to be with his family and he has a happy life where he is.

Stupid bitch...
