Plot twist. His dad was the former hero who probably didnt want to fight the demons because they did their own thing living a normal life.. Soo the king or someone who hated the demons staged up assassination on his family to look like demons did it. The adoptive father(Heavenly knight) of our mc probably found him as a baby or idk what age was he and went back to the castle because he was the sole survivor and left his knights to investigate because im 100% sure they were located in demons teritory. Then his father came back and thought the demons did it and went on a rampage and disappeared
