Also the phone from the previous chapter had 母 which meant mother, but well that was translated in this chapter so it's not like it makes much of a difference

Nonsense, what do you think the tailbone is? It's a tiny, useless tail. The appendix of tails, all it can really do is hurt you if you break it falling on your ass.
