Well her despair coz of rejection is very strong. The more emotions you invest in your relationship the stronger the rejection feels. This is Tendo, girl that tries so hard to stay strong even when she is rejected by surronding people (called deliquent and avoided), she holds tight to that one feeling of comfort she had with that guy Tachibana. If you just try to stay on this one shaky pillar, when it crumbles you fall down deep. This poor girl she herself rejected any people that wanted to be kind to her so now she's like that.

Tendou is probably my favourite character and she is the one who's happiness I am rooting for the most, I can understand and sympathise with her pain. I also was very impressed with how Tsubasa handled that situation, it was surprisingly mature of her. Good chapter.

@Creampuff while Tendou is definitely lashing out because she's hurt, her complaint towards Tsubasa isn't simply about Tachibana liking her, but the added dimension that she managed to end up with the guy she liked. From her point of view Tsubasa got her happy ending while she ended in failure, and is aggravated that Tsubasa is sticking around her because it's just a constant reminder on how things went badly for her instead. It's not simply jealousy (after all she didn't steal Tachibana) and is more frustration about life being unfair once again.

I get what everyone's saying, but let's be clear here: All her emotional turmoil aside, Tendou is kind of a jerk. I don't care that much if she's ever happy--it's not like she cares if anyone else is happy.

Although I agree with @Entryhazard about Tendou's state of mind, I agree with @Purplelibraryguy, or, more precisely, I don't care at all what happens to Tendou. Announcing that she was in love with Yuu was a jerk-ass move, regardless of the reasoning, since it was a bald-faced lie. She's been the 2nd least likeable character right from the get-go. She's had it rough, you say? Oh, sure, but there's lots of people who've had a rough, miserable life but rise above it all and don't cop such a negative attitude about everything and everybody. I've got no sympathy for her.

you have to remember they're teenagers. they're like what? 15? 16? she has a part time job and lives alone. yeah she's had a rough life, ofc she's lashing out. it's the only way she feels in control of her situation. she's bitter because she has nothing and tsubasa has everything. you can't expect a teenager to act like an adult.

It's not tsubasa's fault things aren't going well with her and tachibana-kun...and tsubasa has yuu so there's that...
