After 163 chapters, I still don't feel the slightest reason to care about Tendo...

@Istvan90623 Surely it must just be a way to extend the franchise (and keep the weekly dollars flowing) by delving into the backstories of the side-characters that the audience couldn't care less about. Before the story gets back on track where it left off with Tsubasa not telling Yuu about Extra Guy how many more character's backstories will we have to suffer through? Class President's? Obnoxious-senpai's? Rina-the-gold-digger-senpai's?
I just couldn't bring myself to read this chapter. I don't like Tensou-san. Never have and never will. I couldn't care less about her backstory and what turned her into such a rotten person.

Well, you are even worse because you admittedly didnt even read the chapter, just came here to show us how awesome you are commenting about something you didnt even read. It's not like someone is holding a pistol to your head to read or comment. You saw the raws, skip what you are not interested in and that's it, like a decent human being would do.

@FredFriendly To be honest, I started to roll through when I saw it's about Tendo without reading most of the stuff, and finished it within a minute because of it. I liked the series at the beginning, and could relate some characters, but this kind of obvious drags just disencourage me to care about it anymore.

It's not about voicing your "opinion". It's about voicing THE SAME "opinion" multiple times AND voicing your "opinion" without even knowing what you are talking about (this latter is the biggest problem though). I couldn't care less about if your "opinion" is negative or positive. However, I do care about your trashtalk, because THAT is what your "opinion" right now is. Ever since comicojp went pay-to-read I have diligently paid to "read" each chapter every week for over 2 years now, actually contributing to the original author's income. I didn't actually need to read this chapter in English to know what was happening in it since I already "read" it on October 20th when it was published in Japanese. I can not read Japanese, but the visuals themselves are like the old saying: "A picture is worth a thousand words."
I won't be responding to any more of your comments since I must be a snowflake. Or am I a coward who cowers in front of bullies? Perhaps I'll leave it up to you to come up with more appropriate insults (I prefer pompous git myself). One thing's for sure, I'm not your "pal".

I don't much like Tendou and I think the "really bad background" story is a bit cheap, really. As far as I can tell in real life most consistently nasty selfish people do not come from abusive backgrounds; rather, they're more likely to be spoilt, while some are just jerks because, you know, they're jerks. People who come from abusive backgrounds can be screwed up for sure, just . . . not usually quite that way, I think?
But I'm not majorly peeved about it or anything. I was more or less expecting it, and it's likely to be fairly well executed so, whatever.
