Kako and the False Detective - Vol. 3 Ch. 22 - The Duty of Those Who See

This officially my favorite Detective manga running right now, outside of Detective Conan.

Is it me or does the page order seem a bit weird? Like, page 7 and 8 has no correlation at all

Furano has literally no logic behind that. That was seriously one of the dumbest interactions I have ever seen.
"I don't agree with your way of doing things" & "Your investigation and reasoning require someone to die"
It isn't his way. The person is dead regardless. He doesn't require shit. That's like saying a normal cop is wrong for solving a murder because "it requires someone to die". Seriously, that was some dumb shit. Acting as if he is somehow the bad guy or murdering people to solve mysteries. How stupid.

I never said this, but even this title doesn't make sense. He just has an extra clue. He's not a "fake detective", a fake detective would be solving fake crimes or already know the entire story behind the crime. Knowing who killed who doesn't solve a mystery. Nor does it make him somehow a false detective. He's just got a ridiculous advantage.

Well, his condition of talking with the spirit required the person to be in coma or died, what can you do about that
How can you catch a culprit if he/she haven't done it. At least he prevent cold case or false imprisonment.

@Yautja, imagine if someone turned that logic back on her, like, "Your government official job requires society to function imperfectly without intervention, its clear you actually love chaos"

Yeah, the midget is a dangerous one if she thinks she can organize people in a way that there won't be evil acts committed. "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive."

Her reasoning is the same as thought policing, it's a dangerous line to thread, with some flimsy argument like "preventing crime." I can see why most people wouldn't agree with it.

yes yes, whatever that chibi cop said aside

he's literally spying on the girl's changing room

for academic purposes for work*

🤣

"You can't solve cases unless it's in exhange for a life"
-chibi police who did nothing but whisper-

OBJECTION. In this case, there's no case if there's no death

sure easy to talk your idealism without thinking about what the others had experienced before

that chibi probably will be a problem in the future

@sleepyknight
Yup. The entire world would collapse under that bs logic. No more armies, plumbers, cops, teachers, literally any customer service roll, and say good bye to clothing, cell phones, roads, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

This is legitimately one of the most black and white stupid moments I've ever seen in a manga, that was treated as a sick burn or ideologically consistent complaint no less. If someone ever said that to me, my face would collapse under the pressure of my muscles violently contorting into a "what the fuck did this moron just say" mask. There is literally zero cohesion or coherence behind that little spout of crap.

The high school kid is in a hospital because he nearly got killed trying to catch a killer because you were too fucking incompetent to do it yourself. And you have the gall to complain about it?

That girl is the perfect candidate for a heroic spirit in archer class with darkened skin and white hair.
