Dad isn't dead but he's in hospital. After an accident where he was crushed by a falling pallet of JUMP magazines (which was destabilized by a leaker swiping magazines from the pallet), he has retrograde amnesia and thinks Hime is still 10 years old.

I’m guessing the anime skipped out on a ton of the sol part so it could have a decent ending after one season. Sorta like hinamatsuri.

Kakushigoto has 12 volumes

Volume 1 has 30 chapters, volume 2 has 25 chapters, Volume 3 + has 20 chapters.

The translation on mangadex seem to go up to volume 4 but the official English translation is up to Volume 10. So your only choice after reading here is to buy the respective volumes.
