Aha! So it was actually another artist who drew these for the author! I felt so thrown off every time I saw them bc of how different and well drawn they were.
Are they characters from an actual series? A series and two artists are credited so I'm not sure who drew the artwork, Rinko-sensei or Shirayaki-sensei?

@Danglark I know, right? I don't like yaoi at all, in fact, I sort of despise it for being so much more popular than yuri. I know it isn't the fault of the genre or even its genre fans, but I still feel that way. Every time I open the latest releases on a manga app and find that 13 of the top 20 are BL, 4 are Romance, 2 are Fantasy, and 1 is Sci-Fi, I despair because, of course, 0 were GL.
But the way these characters talk about this particular ship in this particular series in such ridiculous detail is like... jesus. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone this passionate about ANYTHING.
