Fun fact from the novel: the Alchemy skill is a really simple skill that requires a lot of your own input (hence why alchemy is unpopular in this world, nobody knows basic chemistry), mostly because, as mentioned, the Alchemy King was an arrogant guy, so the gods just made a really half-assed Alchemy skill. From now on, there's gonna be several stories of otherworlders, and whenever there's one having some basic troubles, Ryouma immediately assumes it's because they pissed off the gods and they didn't get the necessary skills/help they needed.
