anyone else a little confused over the slimes numbers?

about 1400 slimes, they divide 2 times and end up as 3033? assuming they all divide each time and multiply by 2 then there should be WAY more then just 3033.
so either 1. only a some divide each time, or 2. someone need to redo their math.

@ theldras yeah your right about the amount of slimes there should be well over 21,600 scavenger slimes but that's also if they divided by the original 760 he started with in chapter 9. and I don't feel like doing the longer form multiplying for each and every pit.
