@Natran: Likely to avoid the edge of the pit being too close to the cliff and a random hole (reminder:it's a pool of ACID) cause the whole thing to rain acid down below.

Saw the RAW before, so here's the result for the curious

MASSIVE amount of goblins show up, things got hectic and Ryouma jump into the fray to stabilize things.

Eventually I believe they killed 500+ goblins before it's finally over.

And of course Ryouma assist the recovery effort with his heal slime, because he got slime for all occasion *lenny face*

@blake77 to begin with according to my understanding from the LN translation the spear's function is to stab goblins that try to escape from the moat making sure they don't escape not for fighting the goblins
