I'm unsure about this. Half of me says that any spin-off from that flaming dumpster fire is likely to be just as shit as well.
the other half says that sometimes glorious spinoffs can come out of utter, trashy shit (see: awesome GGO spinoff coming out of shit art online) and that perhaps the author has concentrated all their skills at making trash into the main story thus this one might actually be good.

I'm assuming this is the author's way of making up for the fact Sumi is underused in the main manga?
So far its not bad, it doesn't have the toxic elements of the main story, and it has a simple plot of Sumi trying to learn social skills. Overall this wasn't a bad read to those who are considering whether or not to read.
