the dad's not the best, but somehow i understand what he means
what he's doing is not supportive tho, it's just his own selfish love, but a bit more rational and logical than average
in that, he was willing to compromise and not forcing his beliefs on his kid, but he doesn't stand behind her decision either

still, i loved this chapter
was heartbreaking tho, to see her cry alone, but i know there's going to be many more incidents like this

I really don’t get the dad’s thinking about the hair. If it is photos he is concerned about, the fact that Akira is wearing the girls uniform would already have greater potential for harm to her future if this were just a phase than long hair ever could. Well at least it is that way in the west. “Crossdressing” is definitely a much bigger taboo than having long hair as a guy, which while some people look down upon it, is not considered that big a deal.
