What I meant was her view on Kazuya changed more positively as you said, and it was a spark that led to her eventually developing feelings for Kazuya like now.

Umi never did anything that warrant all the hostility he's receiving from half the readers yet somehow he must be a planning to destroy Kazuya scumbag, just why? I'm 99% certain he's just a normal nice dude who liked Chizuru a bit and is getting over it by now because that's what you normally do, especially when being as socially succesfull, popular and confident as he is you just take the rejection and move on with your life. You're all too afraid of being cucked. The next drama will come from Mami not him.

So Umi (the pretty one) likes Chizuru and went on a date with her during the production of her movie but asked how she felt about Kazuya, and that phrase was her exact response. At that point Umi decided to get the two together, so yes, Chizuru does like Kazuya, but the issue right now is getting her to admit it to herself.

At this point, the entire progress of the story hinges on whenever Chizuru decides that she wants to let Kazuya in on her life because as much as people tend to crap on Kazuya's betaness, at least he got a confession in. Honestly, it's hard to blame him for thinking that she doesn't like him when she loves putting up her walls, even right after some open hearted conversations take place between the two.

I kinda got the feeling umi likes her but by this chapter alone I wasn't sure if he was in the way or trying to help them get together. I dont even know about this "movie" so I really missed a lot lmao.
