Despite everybody calling Ruka crazy, I'm pretty sure she's the only sane person in the manga. Her methods are aggressive, but she's only trying to break MC out of his obsession with a girl he can't have (and if he can have her, it's Mizuhara's fault for not making it clear). This trainwreck keeps barreling further off the rails every chapter.
