I wanted to go along with this. The main girl is a pretty hot meganekko some of the time...
... But the sheer volume of glasses prejudice was completely intolerable.

Plus the author lies, the translator lies ("Jet Yau" makes shit up in a poor attempt to seem funny, rather than translating properly), the main character lies. And the commenters pouring salt all over the main character and gushing over a vile heretic extra was too much. So many comments sections just a screeching bag of hate.... and pretty much all for stupid reasons I can't relate to or no reason at all.

I stopped reading because I couldn't tolerate the constant heretical insinuation chapter after chapter that "girls look better without glasses"... This filth needs exterminatus called down on it.

I want to love this manga. It started off so well but plot progression is so slow now that its painful. Its just been a lot of rinse and repeat with how the MC is a coward and the FMC slowly, VERY slowly, realizes she actually has some feeling for the MC.

This manga wasn't so bad at the start.
Chizuru had a little of characterization, now she's almost all the time emotionless just so we remember she's "cool".
The MC has always been like that, no development at all, but it's okay, at least thanks to him we can still call this a comedy.

P.S. Screw all the girls, still think fish is best character here.

My boys and gals, let's be real, nothing will happen here. I shall now clarify what nothing means:

Kazuya is a cowardly bitch, the likes of which curses world literature once every solar eclipse. He is not going to confess. Mizuhara, understandably, can't think of anything right now. Here are the options:
1) Granma dies. It will deprive the readership of a good simpathetic character, MC will do some romantic speech, will interrupt himself at the end saying the words "HOLD ON BUT NOT IN A WEIRD SENSE", or similar phrases, Mizuhara will smile and laugh and then they watch the movie and they cry a lot. End. Granma will be forgotten in like the next arc when Kazuya will be too busy trying not too stare at Rika's breasts or something.
2) Granma lives. Big Cry. Cheesy romantic "but not like that" dialogue can still be had right before she recovers. She watches the film. Big Cry again. End of the arc.
3) Granma dies and Kazuya decides to stop fucking around with the girls' emotions. AHAHAHAHAH YEAH RIGHT FELLAS, can you imagine Character Growth? Ahaha what's that, can you eat it? LOL.

For the people that want to check this out: the art is really nice, but please please pleaaaaaaaase don't take the plot seriously, it can be really funny but it might start grating on you after what feels like 200+ chapters of nothing. The latest arc atleast seems to be the most consequential in the story, and if the series was good it might be a perfect ending, so feel free to skip some arcs and chapters, in particular literally all of Rika's dates, some of Mizuhara and every beach chapter after the first one.
