I mean, his goal is to travel the world and look for answers. Adventurers get to work in human, beastman, and demonkin territories freely. If he doesn't end up working with some cute beast girl eventually, I will give up the glorious freedom I currently experience to become an office worker confined to a soul crushing cubicle with annoying neighbors the likes of which prompted character ideas for Office Space.

Since I really rather not do that, you can imagine just how high the odds I place on that eventual meeting. Toss in some demon girl for good measure, assuming that isn't just what the "elf" already was to begin with (leave it to humans to call pointy eared humans "demons").
