So this self-proclaimed "gamer" doesn't even know about enhanced gears? What's with that BS? Did he even play a fantasy game for more than 2h?
I'm starting to doubt his claims...

-Doesn't know about enhanced gears
-Is dumb af when it comes to leveling/gathering basic world information (I mean, the first thing you'd want to do is to know where the exp/items/gold farming spots like slime caves are)
-Thinks he won't ever get hit in a sword&magic world (in his mind, aoe spells don't exist or something)
-Invests all points in 1 stat (which just doesn't work in the general mmo/rpg genre)

Honestly I hope he just get smashed once or twice.

@Liu Well, this self-proclaimed "gamer" has only been shown to play mobile games so far, IIRC. Besides, you could be a hardcore 8+ hours/day gamer without ever touching an RPG.

I bet he never play hardcore action rpg like diablo or ragnarok online when stats, skill, and build matters. And no, maxing agility won't make every attack missed, higher lvl monster will bypass it and magic can't be avoided by normal means

In typical mobage, you only need to maxing one stats and evasions is useless or even not exist. I bet the author get the idea, wow it would be cool if i can be super evasion guy in isekai setup!

@nirleka They literally stated that raising a stat to 50 makes you a master, i.e. the best of the best. MC has 51 in evasion, with a chance for more after levelling up. Anything hitting him would be end-game level anyways, and with his 100 recovery stat he can just heal anything short of getting one-shot. Magic has been shown as a physical phenomenon (like a flame) being projected from the caster (like their hand or staff). So it's not impossible to dodge, just harder.

I think I've got why the MC annoys me now.

He makes no effort to incorporate the world's common sense into his knowledge. No matter what people tell him, he's basically ignoring all of it.

Granted, he can ignore the dwarf's advice and just go into the cave because slimes can't touch him, but that's not really the point.
Even if he doesn't bother obeying their common sense, he's just being a contrarian shit by not taking that viewpoint into account when he interacts with others.

This series could actually be good if the mc would just shut his damn mouth for once. He’s a stubborn idiot who refuses to listen to others or make any concessions in a conversation at all, and insists upon bragging about being an evasion healer. He is genuinely the most annoying mc I have seen in isekai, and that is REALLY saying something.
