Kanzen Kaihi Healer no Kiseki - Vol. 4 Ch. 17 - Levelling up in the Seafloor Dungeon

If i remember it right that underwater move was just his evasion dodge, his body moves automatically in weird ways sometimes

Im thinking if at the end of this series, both Lusha and MC will be powered up a lot, and maybe MC will put evasion points past 100.
If they will get married at the end, and honey moon, if Lusha is the one to attack MC, then MC will auto dogde the attack of Lusha that night and be depressed for the whole month

This manga gave me high hopes at first because his high-evasion/high-recovery stats give him the best starting point to be a frontline attacker. But this MC refuses to pickup a freaking weapon even when it’s just him and female elf archer partner with a 25% accuracy rate together in a dungeon renowned for being difficult. I mean, help the girl out a bit. Even if he does fight, he can still auto-evade her arrows. And since he has regeneration, he’s got no chance of dying unless he’s decapitated or emulsified in one super fast hit.

Thanks for the chapter update.

@1000sunny I think the point is that he would be a bad attacker because he doesnt have accuracy or good damage stat and skills. It's the reason why the elf archer is strong, she doesnt have acccuracy so she can have stronger attack.

The whole reason why he doesn’t have any points in Strength, Defense, Accuracy etc., is entirely because up until now he wouldn’t be an attacker. If he had been willing to attack and kill from the beginning, with the same stats he has now, and has always had, he would have earned experience points which would allow him to level up. After earning experience points as well as leveling up, he would naturally earn skill points which he could put into his status to make himself stronger. Even just leveling up would have made him much, much stronger than he is right now because right now he’s at something like 1 point each. He has barely earned any experience points, at all, period. The only time he earned some until this chapter, was the one chapter where he used the party bracelet with the other party of three. But when he was with Elf girl, and cleared the dungeon all the way to killing the Cerberus, the Elf girl got all the experience points for the entire dungeon mission. ALL OF THEM!! Why? Because he didn’t kill anything and they weren’t wearing party bracelets. He’s a fucking idiot.

I don’t know if he gets exp. from using his healing and evasion skills. He might. But even if he does, they will be a miserable, measly pittance compared to defeating enemies. He’ll never level up at that rate and never earn skill points. Not to mention that he’s putting way too much of the work load on the Elf-girl’s shoulders. She just doesn’t have the ability, the skill, accuracy, and just as important, the power to effectively deal with enemies properly. If she’s wasting 6 arrows in order to hit the enemy with 1, 2, or even 3+ arrows just to kill the thing, that’s 9+ arrows spent when it should only be one. Too fucking pathetic. If the MC just tried to kill those hundreds of slimes that were surrounding him in the beginning but missing him, he probably could have leveled up 2-3 times. The author is destroying the quality of the manga which I believe can be great by making his characters stupid. Beyond stupid. Sorry for the long reply.

strength is good and all but if your arrows are constantly missing it negates the point of a one shot kill.

@1000sunny I'll be honest and say I'm not invested enough to read your whole paragraphs but chapter 3 shows him kicking a slime for a total of "NO DAMAGE".
Your logic makes sense (I think, again too lazy to read heh) in a "real world" but this world seems to be very "system" dependent. No stat, no win. It's like in video games if you have no agility you for some reason miss on like a slow golem.
It's an author-choice, for good or for bad, but at least author-san is consistent in that aspect.

@leyuen
Imagine that girl in a war. Just use her as a mortar. She just fires randomly in the general direction of a besieging army, with the same devastation and (lack of) accuracy as a mortar. The Strat in this case would just have Hiroki kite the entire dungeon towards her to spam arrows at, but it seems they dropped that Strat ever since passing the slime dungeon for some reason. Probably stuff in the manga adaptation leaving out context again.

Having the most powerful arrow sounds great n all but if it can’t hit what’s the point
Same with having a healer who will never get hit with no real party backing him up

@DatOneGuy If you had read my entire comment, you’d know that you just agreed with my entire point. It’s true that he didn’t cause any damage, but slimes are usually immune to blunt attacks, so kicking it is futile without a much stronger STR. LVL. However, if he would have just carried a knife at the very least, then even with his one and only point in STR. he could still at least whittle down their HP. And since there were so many slimes there, he could have definitely leveled up, which would have naturally made him stronger as well as given him enough skill points to put even more into his lacking stats.
