I was going to say that Takagi is making sure not to spoil Nishikata as well as Chi, however I don't Nishikata gets what he wants that much either, if at all, in his family life. He always loses. I think Nishkata and Chi should try to "un-spoil" Takagi, although I know that's never going to happen. Takagi reigns supreme in that household.
