Don't believe your mother's word about winning someday, Chi. At least don't get your hopes up on getting a win against your mom. Your dad has been trying for so many in universe years, and he has yet to get a clean victory or even the ability to not act all nervous at the idea of kissing his wife.

I wanna say she has a good chance of winning someday soon against her mom, seeing as she is half Takagi. But then again, she's also half Nishikata, so....

Umm is it me or did that rock change characters. Wasn't the ka rock kicked after chi's and how did it change to sa. I know hiragana and some kanji and these are some simple characters, but I got confused for a bit there. Doesn't change the chapter much to me, but thought I need to get my eyes checked.

Edit: I do need my eyes checked. They just played the game until chi kicked hers into the puddle.

Also did Takagi write "sa" on there just as part of her plan, or is Chi actually short for Chisa?

@monochrome_Scholar that's what I thought too. Either it's chisa or sachi or there is still another third hiragana not revealed yet

@fdmz I agree. While it's true there's still a lot I have to learn about Japanese, I'm pretty sure a name like "Chi" is pretty rare as a full name, and it seems strange that her name would be made up of only one character. Then again, we have yet to see what Takagi and Nishikata's full names are.

Well, I remember an extra chapter from the main series where Chi is in middle school and the guy next to her says "I only remember your name starts with Chi..". Yup, both authors are teasing us XD
