Nah, the spin-off is alright but it's not what I want. I don't want to see them together; I want to see them GET together. I want to the see the process they go through, the gradual growth, and the eventual resolution. It's more about the journey than the destination. That's the only reason I keep checking back.

Oh well, fortunately there are other manga that handle the whole 'progress' thing much better.
