Kawaii Hito - Vol. 5 Ch. 18

Hana-chan is a really cute and considerate boyfriend...wish the world had more lovers like him

@Ranzo honestly it's just something to get used to because, fundamentally, there isn't a single professionally trained/educated translator in the scanlation game and as such very few will approach their translations in the manner of someone who has. This is not a slight against any of them (well some... and we know who) it's just how it is.

I've had small rants about it before and commented in support of the translators I've found who are close to/bang on the professional approach when they were challenged about it but honestly as long as the thing isn't full keikaku means plan (again... we know who) most are actually quite impressive for self taught and I appreciate the effort when it's there.

@Ranzo I'm with @sleepyknight and @miyako19 The logical endpoint of your position is productions of Shakespeare plays where they change it all into 21st century style and slang. I mean, you don't want to overdo keeping things original-Japanese-y either, but it's a continuum; if you just wipe the Japanese flavour out to make it sound like a bunch of US homies that jars on me. Perhaps partly because I myself am not a US homie, and I am actually quite comfortable with a more formal style.

Can this manga get anymore sweeter? omg I feel like I'll have diabetes reading this Y 艸Y)♡♡♡

I feel like choosing a weather(wo?)man based on looks is pretty dumb.. But what do I know

everyone in the comments of the last chapter yelling about ntr looking like a fool now

Im glad she declined. Even the festival she ended participating for her appearance, but she clearly was uncomfortable. Shes so kind and caring that i could easily imagine her being really happy as a kindergarten or elementary teacher or relatable jobs. The TV envinroment would be heavy and stressful for her personality to endure.

For a second there ive thought e was about to propose her.
