No keep your conflict away from the cute soft manga. Not every story needs drama okay it's just a cute little slice of life, and it's freaking adorable. If it's not your cup of tea that's okay, there's plenty of drama-filled mangas out there. This one is also only 10 chapters in; with this sort of manga they usually don't try to introduce much conflict until at least chapter 15 and even then it's only if they're confident they'll be able to keep their audience if they change the flow. I've seen manga that stayed chill until chapter 40+ and I've seen 100+ chapter manga that never really added drama. It's meant to be anti-drama; a manga for destressing, not stressing about the fictional characters instead.

this is one of that kind of shoujo manga that can comfortably read by both gender, my other recommendation is: Taiyou no Ie, Tonari no Kaibutsu kun, Nijiiro Days, Takane to Hana.
