Gosh, it finally came to this. Been waiting a while. It's just too bad for Shiori though. Development like this is rare from my experience in romcoms.

@RangoBongo My favourite manga that could reasonably be called a "fetish manga" would be Nana to Kaoru. It has some cliche forced drama and annoying filler . . . but it also has some good honest development and very sweet romance. Oh, and BDSM, that too.

Okay, well as much as this arc wasn't as good as most people think it to be,
I think we can all say that we went through a patch where we thought maybe we're not good enough for our partner (Unless you have ascended Maslow's hierarchy of needs).
I think this is a good start for their relationship, because til this point, I did think that the relationship was a "why not cuz you're there" type relationship, at least now moving forward
they can get to know each other better and improve on their love.

@gregger agreed, I was thinking the same, especially on Megumi's side. I was almost about to drop it tbh, it was becoming annoying. Tsunderes are cute, and I get that she's shy and that she has no experience. But there is a limit to how far you can go tsundere before it becomes annoying.
They've been going out for a while now, and yet she wasn't showing any sign of attraction towards him. He was the only one asking for dates, telling her she likes her, etc, and every time she'd respond as if it was bothering her. And as soon as a rival shows up she's like "oh well guess he's better off without me", as if she wasn't attached to him. It was painful to watch, especially since the author didn't really show us what was going on in her head so even us readers weren't sure if she actually liked him.
This arc was super painful to read, but at the very least it ended up with Megumi confessing her feelings to him. Hopefully it won't the romance won't be as bad from now on.

@Kiriha problem is that once again the proper talk comes from Aoki. He had to go as far as asking her if they should break up before she admits she likes him. And then it's back to square one at the end of the chapter with the annoying tsundere cliche "shut up don't remind me that I told you that I like you, even though we've been going out for months".
At the very least she admitted her feelings, but that's literally the only positive thing about this arc imo. I really hope that this will be a turning point in the relationship, because it's been 45 chapters of her being an absolute pain in the ass. 45 chapters without any progress despite the fact that they've been going out together since chapter 1.

It took the threat of him breaking up with her to push her to actually admit how she feels.
She is a real pain in the ass. She's lucky he was mature enough to confront her about it. Another person would have gotten tired of her shit and just started distancing themselves
