I have to agree with all the bashing of Megumi. After her boyfriend showed concern that she didn't feel truly committed to their relationship and took the blame on himself for maybe having forced her, she still cannot be honest with her feelings. I can understand being shy, I can understand being introverted, I can u understand being being insecure, but there is a limit and she passed it.
Of course in universe the guy is still satisfied so we should see it as good development...but as a reader I can't say I'm satisfied.
