Kemono Jihen - Vol. 7 Ch. 24 - Bad Girl

I hate it when characters are dumb but then I remember kon and kabane aren't raised normally so...
 
I worry that if Kon betrays Inari in her heart something bad will happen to her... hopefully not... but this manga has been pretty ruthless to its characters so far...
 
@dorofinu remember that time a characters mom was bred with monsters by her benefactor and he, a child, saw it? Not really light-hearted, though the art style always puts you at ease
 
The so-called "romance" in this series is kind of annoying. Nothing so far is different from a normal friendship, but they present it as if our kokoro is supposed to go doki doki. And the fact that the mangaka used that as a cause for not one but TWO of Kon's fits is just... not quite lazy or boring, but more like it didn't need to happen... I am going to hope that either this actually becomes something worthwhile or they just become like best friends or something. Having your first friend stolen from you is also a cause for jealousy
 
Kabane is probably the perfect foil and romantic interest for Kon because Kabane's lack of intense of emotion, which allows him to calm her down, and the fact he can regenerate without feeling pain which means Kon doesn't have to worry about hurting him like she would if he was a non-ghoul.

Iyo and Kasa's plot line I can understand, and whilst Kasa did a bad thing, I honestly am rooting for these two in their own way.
 
Kabane and Kon are a really strong couple, even not romantically. They're both beyond socially inept, but in vastly different ways. While Kon is just completely uneducated about society, Kabane seems to lack or lack an understanding of emotions/empathy. At times they appear to be super similar, such as the chapter with the cat where they both immediately set off to find her without even waiting to hear the plan.

At least, that's what I think.
 
Lol that back hug was enexpected from kabane but surely a kabenishh thing he would do,dayuum first time seeing a ship that would almost kiss for they're faces so close with each other,without blushing so hard,this kids are so pure af....I hope this ship will truly sail in the future.

Meanwhile,who says digging is useless,now go on your knees kabane and ask for master kons digging skills!

I still haven't forgive you for making the poor kon cry.
 
I have been suspecting Inari had done something to Kon's mind the moment her "cinnamon bun" status had been confirmed and had pretty much been convinced during the train trip when Kon said that she didn't have parents, Kon fever and Inugami reaction only puts more weight on it.

I'm actually amazed by the morals Kabane has, to earn recognition, the 'right' way to get something you want, this boy was brought up well by a trash panda(jk).
 
What does Zen mean when he says Kabane is a big person? Like is referring to popularity wise? Or straightforwardness? Or strength? Because physically he is shorter than everyone so I'm not exactly sure what he's implying.
