After that, Kabane went through training, succeeded, found out what the calculi were made of, saw a cute tanuki idol show (gramps was v cute in the dress. I'd buy a plush), received a confession thats wording I'd like to unpack later, then saw his friend explode on top of him. I wager Kon is probably still alive. Apparently the mangaka is willing to use sexual violence as plot points, but not character death, given the past twenty or so chapters.
