Why didn't this manga get a anime adaptation? It doesn't make sense, it has more than 250 chapters and a sequel with 80 chapters, is it not good/is it that bad?

Edit: found out that Netflix adapted it but they took CGI route, RIP my interest, lol.
Will definitely give manga a try.
