why should a world with "magic" follow our rules of physics/science?
Why are there monsters?
Why are there demons/devils?
Why only fauna and not flora being affected?
why does shin always prevail in everything and not hindered by that world's laws?
magic is an unknown factor that affects that world and you use earthly examples to justify your argument.
We are missing so much information to even argue the rules of their world.
Multiple Trial and error is done in many stories but shin does it in one.
So many evidence points out this is just shin trapped in "edo tensei?(i forgot what name was given for illusion world but you get my point)"
That or the author has fuckshit creativity and is only borrowing from jrpgs and other novels/mangas(shocker).

@Christopher That's one interpretation but I think it will depend on what the author wants more than the stated effect. My first thought when it was introduced was that it would also protect her from foreign particles such as food and air, which might be ... problematic.

I think the necklace might be used against the rapist since he's targeting her. Might be that he would date-rape her with some drugs or use some kind of hypnosis magic or something. Something to put her in a bad spot, but the necklace saves her at the last second from being violated.

Can someone translate for Volume 8 chapter 28.5 and 28.6 (note biamam chapter 27 actually chapter 28. They typo chapter number since chapter 10. That's mean current biamam chapter 28 actually chapter 29 meanwhile current 29.1 actually half of chapter 30)
