Kenshi wo Mezashite Nyuugaku shita no ni Mahou Tekisei 9999 nan desu kedo!? - Vol. 5 Ch. 25 - Movement In The Shadows

i guess it's because these girls are young so they didn't think much of it but I just can't believe they messed with some thugs/outlaws and legit paid no mind afterward, having no precaution that those guys might come back even after the debt is paid

That guy sure has a lot of whine, surely he just needed some cheese to go with it.

Hey fuck you with this cliffhanger bullshit. DO NOT HARM THOSE BABIES. OR THE CHICKENS. OR ANYONE EXCEPT BARTLAND.

I hope this leads to Laura losing control of her emotions and seeing the potential devastation she can cause. I doubt it, but I think it would be interesting to see character growth.

so it was all because of someone who's butthurt that he lost a wine monopoly?

wow. okay. that's new. bet he's gonna burn the church

Just something for the translator that I see everywhere (not only in this manga) but forget when it's in the middle of the chapter: don't forget to apply the time concordance. The last sentence should use a would, and not a will, because of the past tense: "Those girls did not know the tragedy that would happen tonight..."

That certainly explains why the game plan of the thugs seemed nonsensical earlier - it is the product of an irrational tantrum by a narcissistic manchild. just like most US policy of the last few years

Incidentally, chicken were dirt cheap (IRL even the poorest could usually afford a few) and everyone regularly killed them anyway for the pot as they grew old - nevermind now the surplus males which were and still are usually eaten as soon as they've reached useful size - so raiding the chicken coop would amount to little more than particularly petty vandalism.

@glassedboi I looked at the raws, and:
everything discussed is true: the vile thugs attacked the vinery AND the chicken coop. Naturally, nobody gets away with hurting the chickens, and so there is much revenge. It seems pretty much everybody gets involved somehow.

@harog

They previously stopped translating for an extended interval, even as they continued to scan. The bottleneck is probably of finding a translator, though redrawing could also be an issue.
