I lol'd at your rundown of a tardigrade hybrid. And I can agree. They'd be so close to impossible to kill, you may as well just walk away or give up.
On the other hand... Can you imagine fighting a starfish or flatworm hybrid? Have LOTS of fun ripping them apart, only to have each piece come at you :)
