Seems kinda forced, she was indeed weak, and she showed that trough out the series. She was always shadowing her brother's footsteps, not even to attempt to accomplish anything taking advantage of her own abilities. And now all of a sudden she beats the lion (which is one of the worst pieces of shit cowards yet prideful characters I've seen so far) because of...
That's it, out of nothing, poor writing on this one

Every time there is a man vs a woman in this series, the woman will start losing and then pull out a win.

Fucking nice! Glad to see that matches Aren't entirely determined by the animal matchup, but by the matchup of the humans themselves as well. Lion is a coward, and cheetah showed by continuing to fight after the roar that she was willing to get her revenge at any cost. Even if lion had won he would have suffered injuries that could have interfered with future battles, so he surrendered.

I think that lion surrendering instead of fighting to the death means that winning this fight isn't a (in the short or long term) cause worth risking his own life for, lions in nature can take a lot of damage, because that's their function in their social group (pride), and the reason why they're allowed to rest more, eat more, and spend less energy hunting than the lionesses. Lions that don't need to be in top condition to hunt for themselves (because they can perform their functions in their group, so they have lionesses provide food for him), can afford to sustain more damage, while those that are too old to perform their role choose to leave the group (pride), and have to hunt for themselves and live on their own; whether Leo doesn't see a reason to risk getting severely injured and still keep on fighting, or he doesn't have something worth defending/fighting for, or he is nearing retirement (which seems unlikely), it's still unknown, we still haven't seen what he's like when he's forced to fight to the death.

Hopefully cheeto and hippo double KO themselves, and avoid dinololi, or else we'll have to see one of them being sacrificed, probably hippo.

He might kill Iwasaki, who's using him like Youzan did, and/or worse, trying to get rid of his former ally who would refuse to be controlled by someone. Leo throwing a fight, being hit in the same place (don't remember the side, though), except for him losing a finger, might be a callback to his first fight with Hitomi.
In the worst case (plot-wise), he threw because Hitomi also lost and, being out of the tournament, could better attack Iwasaki (who also wanted to kill her and Nomoto, sending dino loli to her hospital room) behind the scenes, so he (Leo) had to leave the tournament to be able to bodyguard him; worst case because this would also mean he would be still siding with someone who's trying to control him.
Also, he seems more cautious about special brutes like Hitomi, Kido and Koyomi than Taiga is, so without his keikaku he might not even have been alive to this point, and Taiga's injuries help illustrate this point.
