Killing Bites - Vol. 6 Ch. 30 - Thanks for everything

Yeaaaaah, guess I'm done with this one. Guess if it's going to be like this, I'm not right for this manga.

Personally I liked that twist ending. It made sense to kill Nomoto because they didn't know if he was going to go to the authorities about what they're doing or not. Plus, his entire scaredy-cat/pushover personality was super annoying to have to constantly deal with.

tbh, killing him made me feel like they were killing the manga, he was a important part since the beginning to just suddenly kill him. it would be like killing the weak friend that mc actually loved... so sad

Wow, this made me want to stop reading, who the fuck are they pretending to be? 24? Nomoto and Hitomi are written off as the main characters? Fuuuck this.

@divna I agree. I don't think I'll read anymore if they just dropped Nomoto and Hitomi as the main characters. It looks like they've decided to change the entire theme of the manga 30 chapters in.

Just got here; late to the party. I wonder is they'll utilize Nomoto's death in an interesting way if Hitomi is going to be a recurring character. It would be interesting to her "Honey Badger don't give a f***" persona to take a back seat in some non-combat story scenes to "why did I murder this acquaintance without hesitation? Are the systems I exist in fulfilling me as a [human] or exploiting me as an [animal]?"
M.C. McEveryman wasn't exactly an exceptionally compelling character, but I hope they do something interesting the fact that he had to die. And while I don't imagine this series will swerve into something more thoughtful going forward, I can always naively hope.

Honestly don't mind him dying. He never felt essential and it was kind of expected. I guess there's a chance she didn't really finish him though
