Kimi ni Aisarete Itakatta - Vol. 2 Ch. 14.5 - The Light in a Garbage Dump

I find it incredible how all of that shit he went through barely fazed him and that girl was what really fucked him up.

I genuinely feel bad for Narumi. He's not a bad person, he just does bad things because he's too easily strung along from person to person who has authority over him. When he finally thinks he finds solace, the woman he loves forces him to commit the worst crime he's ever done against his better judgement, only to find out that she did so she could be with another man.

It's an interesting tragic character in a sense.

AU where this is the first chapter and instead of the criminal clusterfuck we have now it's just these two overcoming their hardships with each other's help uwu

it's easier to sympathies with Narumi than the main character. He feels a bit more self aware and a lot of his actions feel like he didn't have a lot of choice in the matter. MC feels too far gone and kinda crazy.

@himeleth
Yup, we in denial too

I once read someone's comment in one of the chapters saying Teenagers are basically psychopaths and I've never been able to look at them the same

So with the recent developments I think Narumi is the killer and he frames Hiroshi ._.

I know that these kind of story never have a good ending, but damnit, I always want one... even if it was a broken good ending.

What an idiot plot. If they let this rapist go instead of calling the cops after he tried to kill the cuckstar, it must be clown rules. Too unbelievable.

@FiddlePop
I think it was me, sorry for that. I meant it in the sense that most teenagers aren't mature, by which I mean that they cannot yet differentiate between good and evil. Some of them think themselvess above it, or that it doesn't apply to them (which is practically the same).

@kenx

No, no, I agree with it
I mean not literally, but I understand what you were trying to say
Had a rough teenage too, so it makes sense to me. It's hard to make sensible and good decisions in a rush of hormones and overwhelming emotions when you don't have an idea how to control them and not be impulsive

@himeleth aaaah, that would be so nice. But that would mean Kanae won't be a selfish bitch. I bet she never listened to any of Narumi's problems. But them growing each other up and over-coming their problems would have been nice

Also, can someone enlighten me; what truth he couldn't tell her?

@Emerane I believe he wouldn't be able to tell her the reason as to why he was out there at that hour and the real reason behind his swollen face. As in, he just wanted to appear like the better person and make her believe he had it together, which he clearly wasn't lol

@AnotherRat but he did something wrong tho. Remember the gang rape? I think it can be avoided only if he had a better judgment and was not easily swayed by his ‘love’ for the mc which is pitiful. If only there’s an actual salvation for him :/

I HATE THE FUCKING MC
SHE INVOLVED THE DUDE IN GANG RAPE AND SHE DIDNT EVEN TAKE CONSIDERATION INTO HOW HE FELT ABOUT HER
